Project definition
This project is about redesign the website of the client, Pets Wonderland. For the index page, it contains a lot of information. About the promotions links, it is another pop up with a few jpeg about it. The promotions jpeg is not been design probably, it can be much better.
Current Site’s Analysis Goals
This site is for provide information. For example, location, contacts, products, service and promotions. The area that need improvement is the main page. Which is contain too much of information that user did not know where to focus.
Client’s Analysis
Founders of Pets Wonderland is Mr Chew Boon Kee. He notice that most of the pet store only selling pets/animals. The first Pets Wonderland outlet was opened in 2001 in MidValley Megamall occupying a floor space of 8,000 square feet, perhaps the largest pet store in Asia at that time. The Pets Wonderland job application form states, “Only pet lovers need apply”
The selling point of this client is, it have pet store with fish, dogs, cats, small animals and related food and accessories with over 15,000 products. Other than selling products, they also provide grooming service. They also have “Privilege Card Member” (PCM) for serious pet owners
Short & Long-term Site Goals
Some information can be unchanged, such as history. However, promotions and news update required to update as fast as possible. So user able to know what is the latest or happening on it. In order to increase the business value, promotions banner have to be well design to get more attention.
Target Audience
As a pet store, its target audience is mainly adults which is pets lover and pets owner. They will check on website update for new product and promotions. Further more, this website have its own forum. User able to exchange and share. A website that update frequently may engage user.

-the logo banner is actually flash
-too much of text, information is every where
-pictures pixelated, even bg picture and it is not attractive
-did not have interesting part, such as rollover effect

By the way it is better to use html tutorials to learn HTML code for beginners
